Antique Chinese Plate

Antique, hand-painted Chinese porcelain plate dating from 1850. I am very selective about Chinese ceramics, but the celadon color, floral details, and pops of burnt orange easily captured my attention. Did you notice the bat motifs around the rim? Bats symbolize luck, prosperity, and happiness - probably one of my favorite parts of this piece. There’s even a special little bat in the center of the plate. Display this plate on a mantle or bookshelf, on a coffee table on a stack of books, add to a plate wall, or put her in the kitchen for a pleasant pop of color.
